Grammar refers to the system of a language that describes the relationship between words to express meaning. For example, how words are formed and put in an order to make a sentence in English is explained by English grammar. There are rules of using words to make meanings. In English, we follow the SVO pattern to  make sentences.

For example, in the sentence “I eat rice”, “I" is a subject, “eat” is a verb and “rice” is an object.

If we put nce before eat, that will be incorrect. English grammar consists of morphology and syntax, Morphology is the study of words and syntax 1s the study of sentence structures. Both explain how words and sentences are formed to make meanings Therefore, grammar is an important part of a language.
