It is a figure in which there is ' a broken sentence construction, lacking a grammatical sequence '.In it a sentence is started in one way but continued or finished in another wat; as a result the latter part of a sentence does not correspond grammatically with the former. Such violation of sequence occurs because of strong emotion or energy.

Examples:

1. Why do I trifle thus with his despair
Is done to cure it (Shakespeare)

 
2. His young and open soul - dissimulation
Is foreign to him (Coleridge)
